Welcome all to Malta for the Spring Open 2027!

Located at the San Anton Hotel close to the St. Paul’s Bay seafront, a perfect venue, right on the promenade with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Enjoy the warm spring weather and some great chess! FIDE rated, 7 Round Swiss system with an Open format. Most rounds start at 6pm allowing lots of time for sight seeing and other activities during the bright Maltese daytime as well as enjoyment of Malta’s nightlife after the games! Please look at the Results / Archive section for similar tournaments dating back from 2017 . There is also a regularly updated list of entries for the 2027 participants.
